NOTE for individual retirement village residents

The RVRANZ as an organisation does not assist individual retirement village residents. We do not engage in direct contact with a village manager or operator on behalf of a resident or a residents' committee.

If an individual retirement village resident requests our assistance, at most we may
  • point out relevant documents
  • make suggestions about consulting their Statutory Manager
  • suggest seeking legal advice
  • suggest contacting the Retirement Commissioner
  • suggest taking up Dispute action
We also advise village residents to keep careful written records of their complaints. This means they are kept on record for when a review of the Act take place.
